ps3 game delays

so i bought a ps3 last summer thinking I could get gta before xmas, and it has been delayed, likewise with metal gear solid. Now I just checked a top name online gaming store and resi 5 isnt out until the 4th of july now.

Now I realise that resi is on 360 aswel but its starting to annoy me greatly that game developers cannot seem to stick to release deadlines.

my ps3 will now remain virtually unused until june/july now:(
The ps3 has been out almost a year and it has few killer titles and not a lot exlusively
 
Better that games come out polished rather than flawed, surely?

I feel your pain though, I have been chomping at the bit for Little Big Planet and GT 5 :(
 
RE5 is now july??? :(:( I've been waiting forever for that game. I hope its as good as 4 and worth the wait though, but I do agree its very frustrating.

Well Resi 5 probably wont be out till late 08 early 09, its always been this as far as i know. Do you have a 360? If not there are plenty of good multi-platform games out before now and July.
As far as exclusive games go MGS4 is a June release (as far as we know), Haze looks like its out between March and May, GT5P out end of march early April. Wipeout HD is supposed to be out in the spring as is Hot shots golf 5 (or what ever its called now), the updated PS3 version of lost planet is out end of feb i think, and UT3 is out this Friday. Ferrari Challenge game is out in March as is the next gen Buzz and also Time crisis. These are all just PS3 exclusive games that i can remember and not a complete list, and like i said if you dont have a 360 theres many many more games. Infact cant think of many years when so many games are out the first quarter off the year, think it just about covers most genres but if none take you fancy so be it.

When is Little Big Planet scheduled for release? Just got a PS3 and i would only play that and MGS4, maybe just the GT5 demo too.

To be honest its your own fault. Games have always been delayed. I can't see why anyone would buy a console for games not yet released, why not just wait until the games are actually out? Its not like the console will go up in price (most likely the opposite)
 
When a game gets a 'pencilled in' release date from a dev, don't take it as confirmed, this is when they would ideally like to have the game out by, doesn't necessarily mean it will (and usually never is). You will learn this :p

That's another I really want to play, supposed to be good. It really is a good time to own one that's for sure.
 
Damn on the Res Evil 5 release date.....hopefully it really will be out in July.

Can I ask what you have game wise for the PS3 right now?
