Buzz might be a good idea, the national geographic quiz is actually quite informative and i can see more 'educational' quizzes being added in the future. You could even write quizzes for them if you were so inclined using the MyBuzz feature.

Ratchet and Clank might be a bit complicated for a 5 year old. What about the disney pixer type games? They might not be good to us but im sure a 5yo will love Kung Fu Panda or Wall E etc.

Actually on 2nd thoughts, Kung Fu Panda was strangely fun!
