PS3 Game - Reccomendations?

I'm after a slow paced, relaxing, maybe strategic game for the PS3.

I used to spend hours on Age of Empires 2 and now want something of the same vein to wile away the hours.

Any ideas, oh knowledgable ones?

They havent an improved PS3 version of Red alert 3 is coming out soon, http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3173105

I have Pixel Junk Monsters and Wipeout.

Valkriya Chronicles sounds interesting.

Is it like Final Fantasy?

Not really no. It's a tactical RPG which tbh i had never played before either, i shall try and explain its format:

You have a team of up to 10 players and a certain number of turns. When you select a character a turn will be used (two turns if its a vehicle). During this turn you can then move you character, fire on the enemy or heal someone. You can only move a certain distance per turn and each unit may only fire once per turn or heal once per turn. There are several different unit types including scout, anti tank, assault, engineer, sniper and tanks, each has their own strengths and weaknesses.

Imagine a real time strategy where you control each individual unit in a sort of 3rd person perspective. I very much recommend downloading the demo off of the PSN, it's very hard to explain to someone.

A little bit like Laser Squad now I think about it, action points, line of sight, choosing your squad etc.
Great game, I've not given it a proper run out yet myself, but I'll deffo get to it.

hehe, a bit yeah, but more like Advance Wars if you've played that. It is great to wile away some time, while moving people shoot etc to keep you slightly on your toes. Very good game.
