PS3 Harddrive upgrade( blue screw wont open)

Hi, I bought my self new 250gig hard drive for the ps3, but i cant get the dam blue screw off:mad:, tight like hell, any 1 else have problem, i google how to upgrade hard drive, the so many tutorial out there how to upgrade hard drive, search more found out few people had problem opening there too
anyone got tips how to take it off?

I feel like smashing the dam console

I seem to recall someone on this forum having a similar problem (and maybe knackering the screw threads in the process?).

Haven't upgraded mine (yet) so can't help really.

I thought that you werent supposed to post about modding thing like this.

I may well be very wrong though.
 
Make sure you get the right screwdriver, please! I stripped two of my cage screws and now my new SATA drive is just shoved in manually balancing on a piece of card!!
 
Thanks guy:), i back up my stuff before i inserted my new harddrive, at the moment restoring all my stuff:)
 
They come out nice and easy if you touch a soldering iron to the screw helps to loosen the thread lock, we do it at work all the time.
