hi

ive got a couple of ps3 questions if someone does'nt mind ,

1. what should i set the upscaler too under the ps3 settings if i want to upscale dvds?

2. if my tv is not 24hrz compaitable what should i have this setting on in the ps3 settings?

thanks

i think its on auto so i will leave that , i find now even though my tv is not 24hrz compaitable , since the latest ps3 updates blurays seem to look a lot smoother ,i cant seem to notice the judder like i used to? have they improved this

1. Normal. If you set it to FULL SCREEN, it'll distort the aspect ratio of any 4:3 material to stretch and fill the screen. Normal just upscales, whilst retaining original aspect ratio.

2. Just leave it on auto.

Yea I reckon so. Thing I found is that with most Blu-rays that are native 24Hz, if they are ouputting at 60 you can sometimes notice the pulldown, so you see juddering. Id assume the update team have been sorting it out somehow as I dont get it with Silent Hill anymore but Im probably just gonna get a 24p tv anyway, fed up using a monitor!
