PS3 Home beta for US only

oh and to add something of worth to this thread, if that is true it royally sucks the big one. i was really looking forward to getting on the trial.
 
I looked a while ago on the Playstation Underground and the Americans were complaining about the fact that Europe had started the Beta Home trial before they did.

US, May 1, 2007 - A handful of PS3-packing Europeans are jumping into Home today. Sony Computer Entertainment Europe announced that the first-phase, closed beta trial of the program has begun with internal staff members and testers.

Home is a virtual world built into the PlayStation Network. Users can create and customize avatars to represent themselves online, view trophies they have been awarded for progress in games, chat with friends and watch movies.

The beta test will be opened up to a larger population, including those registered on the official site, this summer. The program is expected to be released in September.

The second round of beta emails have gone again to GAP members, i joined the PS underground and read that i may get into the Sony GAP, but i think its for US and Canada only. :(
 
GAP is invite only, and you need to update your underground profile with all yours games and consoles etc :(
