This may be a stupid question, but I got a bluetooth headset today, and am wondering about talking to people in game. I've tried in Home and Resistance 2, and in neither have I heard anyone talking. Is this because my headset is incorrectly set up, or just because very few people have one?

My headset is all paired correctly, and works fine the setup screen in XMB. Is it really the case that barely anyone has a headset?

In Home, you can only hear friends with headsets (previously anyone could hear anyone, but it was changed for security/abuse etc). Also it is push to talk (maybe R1 or L1?).

In Resistance 2 I rarely come across a server with no-one using a headset tbh. Obviously not as many people have headsets as you have to pay for them etc, but it is not so few that you should notice it on R2 (quite a popular FPS game online).

Just coincidence? (Even if your headset was not working, you would still hear other people from your TV/Hi-fi speakers, so you having the headset is irrelevant, to some degree.

Yep probably just coincidence then! To be fair I only tried it out for half an hour. Give it a bit of a better go tomorrow.

Are there any decent tactical FPSs that will make good use of it? Resistance 2 is such a run and gun affair that it's almost superfluous anyway.

pffftt. Co-Op mode in R2 you need to communicate (well it certainly helps!!)

I think a proper tactical game is something like SOCOM which you can import from USA or get in UK in next few weeks.
