The vast majority still are. To make matters worse the method for using in game music varies per title

I've just this moment bought and now downloading Wipeout HD.
I hope it supports it.

I am 99% certain it does (not booted it up in a while). As I recall it only lets you pick playlists you have already created in XMB. (May have been changed/patched since then, though).

lol, the in game music is great in wipeout IMO. one of the olny games that supports custom tracks and imo at least doesnt actually need it.....
