Hi there,

Am considering getting a PS3 to replace my big old downstairs PC which I'm using to play music and browse the net. I've heard that the PS3 can do both of these things but was wondering how easy it is to browse the web.

Can you just plug in a USB mouse and K/B and away you go or is it more complicated?

Also is it better to try and get a rare 60Gb model or is the 40Gb better ? I don't have any PS2 games but the memory card reader could be useful.

Thanks

Thanks for the replies.

I take it its not possible to buy stuff over the net with the PS3?

Are all memory card compatible or are is there a particular model that I should be looking for?

Am heavily leaning towards this now :) My brother got one for christmas and I couldn't believe how quiet it was. Would be perfect for watching DVDs too !

How easy is it to install linux ?

Thanks

Sorry i meant are all USB memory card readers compatible or is one model better than the others ?

Think I'll pop into town at lunch and see what offers they've got.

Thanks
