PS3 into Monitor T240

Hi,

I recently got this T240 monitor, just tried to hook my PS3 up to it today and it's not being shown through the HDMI port. I've tried the powerbutton trick, of 5 second hold and reset the display settings. Nothing seems to work, still no signal being received through the monitor. On my 32" it's usually connected to it is working fine. Any ideas?

I've got a pair of T240s and the PS3 works fine on both over HDMI without any setup.

Are you sure the monitor is on the HDMI channel? I think by default it will cycle until it finds a signal, but you might need to force it to change (second button up on the side).

This might seem stupid, but have to changed the source on the monitor to HDMI too?

Ye i tried it on the HDMI channel, but still nothing

. Wondering if the hdmi port is faulty??

Have you tried plugging another HDMI device in?

Do you have a HDMI -> DVI converter so you can see that it's not the PS3s settings?

I havn't got a converter, but I've tried it on another tv and it works fine, and even set it all up from scratch again on another tv using hdmi. So hopefully that means it is not the PS3 settings. I've also tried setting it up on the original tv and setting it to just 1080i / 720p. Still nothing.
