Yea i agree. Was hoping when the video was buffering that it would be that tit Garnett Lee that said it, but i too was a tad surprised and disappointed in Pachter.
 
He is an idiot, but the other guys went on to say fps will always be better on mouse and keyboard, and they also said pc gaming will never die and that steam was the best thing in the world.
 
I just have both my PC and PS3 connected to my TV it's the only way. Even with a dated 8800GT I manage to play in 1080p. Instead of games which are mostly below 720p with current gen consoles.

The site is known to PC gamers as "Console trailers" because:

A) They are completely clueless of PC technology (Claiming their setup had 4870 in SLI...)
B) They are completely one sided to consoles when comparing them to PC (Giving COD 4 best graphics award in 2007 when Crysis was not even a nomination…)
 
I'm pretty sure my outdated PC with an E8500 @ 4Ghz and a 4870 can do more than a PS3 can and play games better than it.
 
I don't know if was referring to the Cell Processor which the PS3 has in terms of it being faster than most PC's processors. If he was, he is partly correct, as the Cell processor was for a while a lot faster than a lot of PC processors. However given the recent shift in Quad cores and i7's and GPUs that has now made the comparison redundant.

I was gonna say due to its streamlined shape and heavy internals it will overcome the air resistance more easily and drop faster than a biege box full of air . . . . :eek:

I'll not hide, i'm a massive console gamer, and haven't played a pc game in years.

However, I can appreciate that the PC is far better at certain types of games than a 360/ps3 (RTS/Most FPS's) and the the consoles can do others better (Fighting/Music). What really gets me is the elitist PC gamers (there's one or two in here) saying that the consoles should just stop and never be produced again as they'll never match a PC. The same is also true vice-versa, and I know there's a few in the console forum that have that opinion of pc = lolzsux.

The guys opinion in the video is a truely ridiculous one, and simply untrue, as within a year of the PS3 coming out, PC's were leagues ahead in terms of power. Same with the 360. Why can't you guys (applues to any console gamer reading too) accept that we have our own personal favourite method of gaming?

I stopped PC playing as I could no longer afford the upgrades to play gamers how I wanted, but I doesn't mean that i'll berate the PC for being an expensive piece of ****, it's just simply a different, and in some cases, better way of playing games.

Heh, he seriously said all that? :eek: He's stupider than I thought.

I own all 3 consoles, and unfortunatly none of them are even close to my PC graphics wise, which sucks as I'm finding it harder to sit at a desk and play games due to sciatica. So having to use controllers for fps games that look far better on my pc really annoys me :(.

Edit - Creature, I'll never accept that consoles can do certain types of games better since PCs can use any control system (apart from the wii's, but that's a completely different type of gaming imo than PC/X360/PS3), where as a console can't use M+KB.

Yea, but some games such as Fifa, or infact most sports games are silly hard with anything other than a console style controller. But like you said, to get the best performance from a game, you sometimes have to buy a second control system, rather than the one that came with the pc. I fully accept, that a pc running a game optimally, will always beat a console running a game optimally, but sometimes, it's just easier to do it on a console.

"Wow my PS3 is really better than a £2000 pc?!"... sure, if you bought a solid gold pc case.
