ps3 issues halp!!

Hi guys i have an 80gb PS3 which i have had for a few months and its been fine.

However recently i have had trouble with my headsets (bothblue tooth, a samsung and a gameware one) both of which have worked previously with no issues at all.

The problem is a little strange. I can get the headset to pair and work fine under settings etc (using voice changer works with no problems at all) yet when i try to game online (with fat princess for example) i cant get the game to pick up i have a headset? Voice comm just fails to work

Its strange i know! any ideas? (they work on my mobile fine)

Do you have a Playstation Eye plugged in?

I do indeed. But the default device for the audio (on both mic and playback is set to each headset when its inuse)

why is the eye known to cause funny issues with games and chat then?

Nah, just thought it was using the Eye as you mic when in game.

Try unplugging it and using the headset just to see what happens.

Yeah i will give that a go when i get home ... the thing is fat princess game chat was working fine the other day when i was house sitting for a week (took the ps3 for company) and now im back home it fails to work :/ grr
