Since the last update when playing online, games I've tried so far are COD and Black Ops, the game kust keeps on disconnecting from PSN, can't remember the error message right now but googling for it came up with adding the PS3 to the DMZ on the router, disablign media server, and adding ports, all of which I've done but it doesn't make a difference.

One strange thing is if I create a brand new user who has never been anywhere PSN before then that user can play without any disconnects.

When PSN was down and Sony offered PSN+ (or whatever it's called) my son did enable this for both users that have the above problem but this has since expired. The reason I mention this is I've checked through existing user settings and the new user and the only differences seems to be the mention of PSN+ or the existing accounts.

Anybody have this, my NAT Type is 2 and I have uPNP enabled on the router also.

This also kept happening to me after I fully restored my system, the PS technicians were useless! All of there 'advice' didn't work and I finally worked out how to stop it and it wasn't anything to do with what they said! Anyways if you go into network options and disable the media server connection (Unless you use it) then it reduces the amount of excess bandwidth and provides a smoother connection + download speed. Hope this helps!
