PS3 language

I haven't owned a console for ages now but I'm looking at getting a PS3 soon.

What I was wondering is, are the PS3 consoles and games language specific i.e. menus and the like or can you you select what language you want in menus?

I would expect you can but it's worth checking I guess, I don't want to get a PS3 and games here only to find out that it's all in Czech.

edit: right, just googled (should have done that in tha first place tbh) and the console has a language menu so no problems there, still don't know about games

Id imagine it will totally depend on the game. But most will have a language selection menu

As all games are region free you can import games from the UK/US anyway, or is that not an option?

Cheers guys, I could order from back home but fancy getting it this weekend if you know what I mean. The shop I went in had all the game boxes in English so I'd guess the games themselves would be too, I can always ask they guys in the shop but thought I'd ask here first.

edit: I ended up going in my lunch break and getting it, GTA IV is all in English, the game, box, guide and map. The console instruction manual is in Czech, Polish, Slovakian and Hungarian though but I can d/l that so no biggie.
