Hardly a problem though unless you're trying do something else at the same time and your experience is suffering. RAM is there to be used, why complain that it's being used.

I think it buffers whatever its transcoding into RAM, is it only using 750mb when you are playing something back? If so im pretty sure theres an option that lowers the buffer size...
