I just found out about this and it amazes me how easy it works

I can play normal xvid and x264 content nicely, but just tried a DVD ISO file and it worked but was skipping every 5 seconds or so, same with 720p and 1080p content.

Is it possible to play this stuff over network? I haven't got a clue how a network works, is it your your internet download speed or doesn't this have anything to do with a network?

Just that i should be 12MB down and 1MB up but Sky are doing them silly little tests they do so im only at 3MB down and 600kb up at moment. So will this effect video buffer? or as asked before does have nothing to do with a network?

Hope you lot get what im on about, because to be fair i dont :p

Yeah everything is wifi, Should i try connecting through a Ethernet wire? ( well the yellow cable thing)

Im connecting from my MBP.

Thanks

hmmm im still struggling to get them working. My mbp is about 5ft away from my ps3 so wifi connection should be excellent.

Just plugged in the Ethernet cable in and its still doing the same, do i need to turn off wifi or something? As i dont know even if the Ethernet cable is on, i don't knoq how to tell lol

Thanks guys for replies.

I see what i was doing wrong yesterday, i was plugging my ps3 straight into my mbp with the ethernet cable... guessing you need to plug both the mbp and ps3 into the router?

If so ill just leave it, i can't stand wires at all. could have lived with it if it was ps3 straight into mbp as i could hide the wire.

Thanks anyway.
