This is really starting to hack me off. Both PC and PS3 are on the same network, uPnP is enabled, firewalls have been turned off for testing. Open up Media sharing in WMP11, nothing. My PC can't see the PS3. Anyone know what the hell is going on? Thanks

Google this program, ps3 media server 1.02.1. Worked a treat for my friend, streamed a 1080p .mkv file no problem for him.

It's not WMP11 I don't think. My PC can't see the PS3 even though I can ping it and it's configured correctly (access, ip etc.).

Im not sure, all that I have done is make sure my router gives my PS3 the same IP everytime and TVersity and the above program show/work on the PS3 fine.

I found tversity to be a right pigs ear

MP11 works great for me.

Is your connection wired or wireless. The wireless connectivitiy for PS3 isn't great IMHO.

When you've shared your media in WMP11 have you scanned for a media server on the PS3, under the music, video or photo tab?
