PS3 MS Slot

Just A Quick Question About The Menory Stick Slot, I Have A Spare Memory Stick Duo Pro 2GB Card So Thought I Would Stick It Into The PS3 For Some Extra Storage.

Using The Supplied Memory Stick Adaptor It Came With, The Card Slots nearly All The Way Into The Slot On The PS3, And I Can Only Get It Out With Some Small Nose Pliers As Enough Isn't Sticking Out To Grab It With My Fingers.

Is This Normal?

No it's not, have you tried pressing on the mem stick? usually it pops out

you shouldnt need the adaptor as its a dual slot, but as mentioned all it should require is a push to eject.

My memory stick duo doesn't work when pushed in but it works with the adaptor :confused:

Anyway, push it to eject iirc.

I find the memory card reader on my US PS3 to be a bit hit and miss. I've got an SD card that works every 2nd attempt, without fail.

And as said, push in to eject.

yes

there shouldnt be any sticking out to grab with your fingers because as said you push it and it springs out

you possibly broke the mechanism pulling it out with needle nose pliers :eek:

I have sorted it, works fine just the duo card. Only seems to say MS pro on the slot though so thats why i was using my adaptor.

Sorry about the typing, my PDA decided it was going to put a capital for each word :|
