ps3 must buy games

Just bit the bullet and bought a ps3 with gt5 and fifa11. What are the other must buy games? To give you a sense I'm not really a multiplayer type person so would rather pick up action/adventure single player games.

Back on the ps2 my games of choice were the GTAs and for hangover days i perfected the game of Tiger Woods 2006 so the news one of such are already on my xmas list.

Since the only game I've playedin the last 3 years is Football manager i'm a bit out of reach of the current market.
 
Havent had mine long but Uncharted 2 has impressed the hell out of me, looks and plays great and has some fantastic set pieces. Has to be worth a look.
 
In no particular order:

Uncharted 1 & 2
inFamous
Batman: Arkham Asylum
God of War: Collection HD
God of War 3
GTA IV
Metal Gear Solid 4
Red Dead Redemption
Final Fantasy XIII
Heavy Rain
Dead Space
Burnout Paradise

All fairly long single player games that are very good imo.

1. MGS 4 is essential
2. The Ratchet and Clank series is very fun and highly playable
3. The God of War games a lot of fun
4. Heavy Rain is good and something a bit different
5. Uncharted 1 & 2 are pretty fun
 
Demons souls is the best game this generation barr non!

MGS4 is great if you are a fan of the series
Uncharted 1 & 2 (2 is better but more fun if you have played 1 first - still a great game)
Batman:AA (i personally enjoyed it more then uncharted 2 which says a lot)
Dragon Age:Origins better game on PC but im not a big PC gamer so i was happy with PS3 version

Personally i would rent Heavy Rain as it was very 'meh!' but is definatly worth experiencing as its somthing very different.

OH and Sonic 4 :)

I would love to put 3D Dot game heroes on here as its a great game but i found it very buggy and in the end sold it on the final dungeon after far to many random crashes causing me to repeat the game over and over which ruined an otherwise great retro style title... worth trying but be warned it was very buggy for me.

EDIT: just reread your OP and noticed you mentioned tiger woods and thought you might be interested in move for it as im sure its move compatible... also look into sorcery for the move, due out early next year, as i think it looks great.

The games you've got, for me are the must buys and the only reason I bought a PS3. Might also get GTA IV as that's always fun :p

Enjoyed 12 as much as the previous ones, but anyway..

13 -put it this way. It's the only FF game I've ever started and never finished. Only play it if you want to destroy any confidence that you might have had left in Square...

Hehe, that's exactly how I felt about 12 (never finished that either). Oh well, nevermind.
