PS3 must have gear/games?

Getting one in a few weeks, so far im after an HDMI cable, F1, Moorstorm and R:FoM.

Anything else wort getting? Is there a difference in HDMI cables? The one I can get at work is a Venom one, is the Sony one better? Also, how easy is it to get Linux on he PS3?

Any suggestions welcome

a cable is a cable is a cable. get a cheap hdmi cable, thats all you need. i think yeah, there's a nice improvement

getting linux on there is easy. using it after that isnt, not if your not familiar at all with it like me

as for the linux part .... FORMAT AND PARTITION YOUR HDD ASAP


i forgot ..... then had to back everything up so i could format and make a partition....then i realized i had no blank dvd

installing linux is easy getting stuff to work on it a little harder but it is achieviable and i am a complete linux noob
