PS3 & NAS

My PS3 is working on a wireless home network (sky / sagem adsl wireless router), I'm thinking of adding a NAS device.

With say an icybox wired to the router will the PS3 be able to share it over a wireless network?

and with streaming software / any recomendations?

Alternatively you could buy a big USB harddrive, format it to fat32 and then it'll work just fine with the PS3.

This would be the MUCH easier option, I was just thinking that maybe NAS would be more useful for other PC's & laptops / although i could also just plug it into these too when needed
