Just a quick post, as I'm typing this on the PS3.

I just had a look on the American PSN, and firstly noticed that Super Stardust HD is available. Hopefully our store will have that tomorrow, I've been looking forward to it.

Anyway, aside from a bunch of movie trailer downloads, as well as the new GTA IV trailer, I noticed an actual playable demo! lol

It's Dynasty Warrior- Gundam. Not really my cup of tea, but I'll download and give it a go anyway, seeing as it's there!

Hope the UK gets a good update tomorrow,
V1N.

Would be great if UK PSN gets Super Stardust HD tomorrow!

I doubt it though, US seems to get everything before us, I think it will be Ninja Gaiden Demo.

Super Stardust HD is coming out tommorow on the UK store. It was out in the states today, it got a 9/10 from eurogamer and an 8.5 from IGN.

I think I will definitely buy this anyway, it was released as $8 in the USA, I think calling all cars was $10.

I think it is a remake with HD stuff added.

It is $7.99 on the US store so I reckon it will be £3.99 on the UK store in the morning.

I have never played this on the Amiga but the gameplay trailers do look pretty amazing so far.

As I remember it, Super Stardust (and Stardust before it for the non-AGA machines) was at heart, an asteroids clone... as per the trailers we've seen on PSN.

It did also have some amazing tunnel sequences... truly mindblowing graphics in its day, I remember being wowed.

Came on 6 disks if I remember, and I had it installed on my CD32/SX-1 harddrive.

Great game, hope the remake is as much fun... and the graphics live up to expectations :)

People getting excited to play an old remake on the PS3 :(

Sony, where are the bloody retail games/demo's for the PS3 instead of this old crap !!!!!

CD32/SX-1 harddrive \o/

Some one else who had one!! I had an A1200 but dumped it for the CD32/SX1 because it just seemed more adaptable at the time, then Commodore went bust :( and gaming hasn't been quite the same since.

What was that mining game that came with the CD32 called again? I loved that :)

Back on topic :o Nice to see some new stuff trickling onto PSN will definitely get Super Stardust, now if only someone would do Alien Breed HD :D

You blatantly have never played Stardust ;) :p
Even if I did, I did not buy a 600 euro machine to play arcade remakes.

I use my PS3 more for video streaming than for games playing :(

Well just played Stardust for 20 mins, never played the original but early impressions are that's definately worth the fiver :D

Just had a quick couple of goes on Super Stardust HD.

****ing brilliant, love it :)

Hoping for more remakes, the graphics are great, the tune wills you on, and the all important playability is fantastic.

I love the old scrolling shooters too, so I hope we get a few of those remade too, there were some real beauties on the PS2, and Ikaruga on the cube.

Ahhh, I'm off for another go now ;)

I had the CD32 version of Super Stardust with all the additional cgi. Was an amazing looking game for its day and i still play it on and off. I really hope i have as much fun with the remake.

100% agreed. The 360 has loads of retail game demos etc. The PS£, has nothing but crap.

lol, horses for courses.

I love games like Super Stardust, and hope they continue to release more quality titles like this. I've found it difficult to tear myself away.
