ps3 on 226bw?

How would i get a ps3 to work on my samsung 226bw for sound?
I know i would need a hdmi>dvi lead (where is best place for one of these?)
But regarding sound as the monitor doesn't output sound, Can i run it through my sound card on the pc some how?
Sorry if this all sounds dumb but only just got the ps3..

youd want to plug the PS3 straight into some speakers of some sort

passing sound through the PC is only going to get the 2 out of sync when handled separately.

Either buy a set of digital speakers with digital inputs, or possibly buy a phono adapter so you can plug the PS3 audio lead into computer speaker inputs.
