PS3 on a CRT monitor?

I know it can be done, but is it going to look awful?

It'll look fine but you'll need an HD Fury cable to do it.

Get one of these:

Just get yourself a component lead (the PS2 one will do). I use one of these on my Mitsubishi CRT and it's superb. Better than HDMI - DVI on my TFT monitor.

And it's got 1080P. I'm really picky about image quality and believe my the picture is excellent.
