i've got one of those, so id like to know to

as far as i know you cant use an HDMI to DVI cable as its not HDCP.

where can i get one of these cables and would it be better on the monitor than a normal 32" tv?

you should be able to get it from most electrical stores, however as i've said i dont think it'll work with our monitor.

If the monitor is DVI-D you can use a HDMI to DVI cable or converter, you will be able to play games and stuff but wont be able to watch blu-ray movies due to hdcp. I had a similar monitor and quality was good but was only able to ouput to 720p & 1080i due to the monitors capable res.

ah really? i thought you couldn't do anything without an HDCP monitor, fantastic news

might tide me over until i can afford an HDTV then

edit: Ouch its a touch pricey at 70 odd quid, i may just save up for an HDTV
