PS3, One Random Beep?

Hey all,

Got a 60GB PS3 which I have not had to long, now it works fine (Bar smelling a little warm from time to time) but I have been playing MGS1 the last couple of days and every now and then (About 4 - 5 times in 9 hours of gameplay) I hear one random beep from the PS3, nothing else happens and the game continues to play perfectly, but has anyone got any idea as to what this beep means?

Well I did not play 9 hours in a row, this was split over 3 days

Although you could be telling the truth, is that realy it?
