PS3 or PCH & Humax Freeview

HI Guys,

Trying to sort out my Av setup. I can't decide whether to buy a PCH and a HUmax Freeview PVR for the living room, or just buy a PS3 & PlayTV as a 'one stop shop'. Any opinions?

I think the majority of the opinions will be biased towards what the user's setup consists of

Best just to read the reviews of each &/or forums take into a account potential updates/firmwares, extra apps, usability etc.

I can certainly vouch for the PCH though

I've got a PS3 with PlayTV and it's the best PVR I've used personally.

Depends on what you want from it really. I have a PS3/PlayTV combo and think it's ace. Having said that, the functionality of the PlayTV is not as wide as a number of other PVRs. Making up for that you have one of the best BD players around, a latest gen games machine and a PVR picture that probably has the edge on any other PVR available.
