Okay, so putting my Hat of Realism on for a second it has to be conceded that one month of superior sales in almost a year and a half isn't exactly going to mark the PS3 as a significant threat to the Wii's dominance.

There's lots of good news for the PS3 though, so getting overly excited about sales numbers isn't necessary.

I don't understand why people get excited about sales. Its stupid, unless you had stock in that company or got a cut from each sale.

How much are Sony making a loss on the PS3?

Compared to Nintendo uber profit margin on the Wii.

8 million wii sold in japan, 3 million ps3, yes im sure nintendo is worried.

Edit: also there is no chance those sales are going to continue with out game to back it up

Console sales don't mean that much its the attachment rate that is the big factor but really the Wii should be dropping it's price by now it really is a rip off.
