Hello all,

this is my first post, ive been browsing around and ive used the site before (about 3 years ago) and how things have changed...(price of computing equipment / advances in graphics cards etc..)

So the question i put upon you all :D

I have both a ps3 and a pc that id like to use on the same monitor, bare in mind that my ps3 is on vga connection like my pc... Any ideas?

Im fed up of unplugging either all the time...

Thanks for your time...

welcome to the forums jim . is that the only connector on your monitor if so it sounds like an older / budget monitor . is it possible to upgrade your monitor , i know its a bit pricey but its a great investment .

cheers

Thanks for all the replies :D

the monitor i have is LG W2234S 22" TFT Monitor and ive had it ermmm 1 month if that... cost me about £120...

vga switch i will have a look on amazon now... thanks

I thought the only way to use VGA on the PS3 was to buy a HD Fury cable/adaptor because of HDCP? If so, just buying a VGA switch wouldn't suffice, would it?

Sorry for the thread hijack, but is there such a thing as a DVI switch? I plug both my PC and my PS3 into the same DVI port on my monitor, and am getting bored of unplugging and re-plugging them in. I can't find a switch anywhere though :( Any thoughts?

Google 'DVI switch', first link, just under £10 not including postage. It supports audio cables too but i assume you won't be needing those so just ignore em.
