Another tech' question.... again ive googled and again im confused.

What I do know and what I can do is copy files from my PS3 to my IPOD and stick them on my PC and vice versa.... BUT, that requires me stopping doing things and a bit of manual labour ;)

So if I have both the laptop and PS3 on, both connected to the internet via the same wireless router... can I then see the PS3 on the network via my laptop and then access the PS3 and its media content to copy files straight across?

Nope, you can't go from PS3 to laptop. You can do it the other way though providing you share your files on the laptop via Windows Media sharing.

NO. You cannot move files "off" the PS3 other than via USB based devices. You can move them from your laptop to the PS3. Just use media sharing and put the folders into the shared folder. OR set up your machine to run as a web server and then access it via IP address from the PS3 web browser. This will allow you to save CERTAIN types of files to the PS3 when you click the link.

Cheers for the responses

Bit gutted as its from PS3 to PC only that I need... MLB 09 has the screenshot functionality which allows me to grab important clips, as well as MPEG4 videos.

Looks like ill be stop starting, but I suppose its not too bad if I put the laptop next to my PS3 :)
