Is it possible to connect my PS3 to my home network then put the songs on my computer on the PS3.

Is that possible?

I looked at the FAQ with the import from CD thing, but is the above possible?

Thanks

Windows Media Player 11 will do it.

Share the media on the PC, then on the PS3 highlight what you want to copy and press triangle iirc and select copy. :)

Ok so by setting the media as shared it becomes a 'media centre?' and I do a search on the ps3 for media servers and all the songs should pop up?

Yes it's actually really simple.

First on your PC, go to Windows Media Player 11. Then right click on the "Library" tab. Go to "Media Sharing" and tick "Share my media to:".
Make sure your PS3 is turned on, and it should appear as "Unknown Device" in the dialogue. Click its icon and then click "Allow" and Ok - Your PC is now a media server.
On your PS3, your computer will appear with a white icon under the tabs Music Picture and Video (you will need to press Find Media Servers first - also make sure the option is on in your Network Settings).

To add might need restart of Pc and PS3 in some cases. :)
