PS3 question - blu-ray over component

Mulling over getting a PS3 at some point, but my TV doesn't have HDMI. It does have VGA, but the PS3 doesn't.

Has anyone here got experience of blu-ray video over component? And games, come to that? If someone has experience of both HDMI and component I'd be interested to hear how they compare.

Ah - just thought of something else. Does it come with the component leads? Is it the same connector as for PS2? Cheers.

Still I could use my PS2 one, so that's ok.
