PS3 question re selling PSN games?

I'm probably going to be selling the PS3. (dont use it so much BUT i will miss the Bluray movies

)

Can i sell any online/PSN games i have with it? e.g. Tekken online DR

How would i do that? I thought it was tied to your account?

I'll probably buy it again later in the year (xmas or something)

I would have thought it was tied to the account, but maybe its hardware integrated? If your selling it, just sell it with the games on it and charge a bit extra.

You could still delete the account and have the games remain on it. Demos and full game downloads are available to all users.

I did that when I sold my first PS3, the guy I sold it to couldn't play Tekken even though I'd left it on the console. Unless he was doing something wrong.

Delete your accounts, you can later get a PS3, add your account and get the games back.

Or just change your account password. The games will not work if you delete the account that purchased it, from the console. (from what I understand).

(I am unsure whetehr you want him to have your games, and charge him more for the console, or you are trying to delete your stuff so he doesn't have access)

If you delete the account that the game was purchased on, the game will become unusable whether it's left on the harddrive or not. It would be possible to remove your card details from the account and sell it with the account and games still intact.

However, i wouldn't recommend that, the best idea is probably to delete all accounts and sell it as it is, then when you buy another PS3, just recreate your old account as the games are tied to the account you will get them back.

/\ sounds like a good idea. Only had the PS3 for two weeks so dont have much knowledge on accounts

Only purchased one game myself and it can be played on all accounts so i assumed you could delete the purchaser account.

I'll just delete the account. It was only Tekken 5 anyway

By the time ive got another one Tekken 6 will prolly be out.

(selling ps3 to help fund car buy)

Make sure you deactivate the PS3 first. It's in Account Management.

edit: couldnt actually delete my account. It doesnt give you the option to delete the master account. had to create a new account and then delete my account. Also did format. bye bye ps3
