ps3 question

Does anyone elses PS3 freeze when browsing the internet with more than 1 window open? e..g if im on youtube sometimes the ps3 will just hang and i have to do a hard reset.

Something else unusual is that when it happened again just earlier - when i switched the ps3 back on it went into display setup or something asking if i wanted HDMI for sound and video etc. I do change the hdmi cable with the 360 a lot (sometimes putting it in different HDMI slot) Is my ps3 about to die? what lights should i look out for RED im guessing? Guess i should also do a backup of my game saves (dont need to bother with game data stuff right?)

ohh yeah somtimes the wireless controller will just switch itself off for no apparent reason - usually at the worst time as well. Is there a weird button combination that switches it off or smt?

That or the controller will refuse to hold its charge - i hold down on the PS button and the lights just keep on blinking even though its fully charged so i end up having to go wired with the stupid thing. It feels sooo easy to snap in two....i have resisted temptation so far..
