PS3 Racing/Driving Games

Can anyone recommend any good multiplayer racing games for the PS3?

I have Need for Speed Undercover and Burnout but they are just single player. Don't understand why, they both used to be multiplayer on PS2.

GT5 Prologue has local multiplayer, and can be picked up pretty cheap.

GRID is a lot of fun but only has online multiplayer I think...

Motorstorm: Pacific Rift sounds like the game for you. Over the top arcade racer with anything from a monster truck to a dirt bike with up to 4 player split screen. Handling wise it feels quite similar to Burnout but in jungle/coastal tracks.

If you want something a little more realistic Gran Turismo 5: Prologue supports 2 player split screen however it's a rather large departure from Need for speed and burnout.
