Hiya I get my PS3 on friday and really want the copy of Casino Royale, so how can you pre-register online?

Also will the PS3 easily connect to wirless?

I'm confused. What is the URL?

Can I check I have an account somehow? I signed up for one in December, but I'm confused to what I signed up for and what the recent signups were for?

Is it playstation network usernames everyone is talking about or access to the playstation store? or both?

It won't take long I'm sure.

I would imagine that you shouldn't have a problem being in the first 500,000 registered users if you manage to get on fairly early. Personally I'm a little worried that I'm gonna have to wait until 19:00 until I can try, and I may have a TV to setup in that time :(
 
The Casino Royale thing is for the 1st 500,000 people who register with their consoles. Seeing as there is only 1,000,000 for sale in Europe your chances are quote high. I reckon they will sell only slightly more than half. I can't think all of those people will sign up before you (or I!!!) get home in the evening.

How many unemployed/students/ppl who take time off for a console could there be out there? (Less than 500,000 I hope!!).

Well I hope I get it, just 1million PS3's and since other countries are at least an hour ahead in EU then they get the advantage. :eek:

But I have fri off, so as long as it doesn't come too late should be fine with getting a copy. But don't understand how Sony will let you know if you have got it or not.

I think I will then mess about setting it up for HDMI and optical audio.

This is true enough I suppose. The vast majority certainly aren't going to want to arse about registering when they should be playing their shiny new games :p
 
Haha true but wana see a 1080P movie, was gona buy Casino Royale, but since its free want it ASAP.

Then will play games all day most likely :D

My guess is they will this thing called e-mail. :D It is a new feature on the PS3.

Seriously though, they did something similar with PSP when you registered it online they sent out a certain amount of UMDs of Spider-man 2. It just arrived in the post about 1-2 weeks later for most people. That is the only annoyance, But I have Superman Returns and Terminator 2 to watch on Blu-Ray till then. And it only feels like yesterday I saw Casino Royale at the cinema.

Did they email you when about your UMD then?

I went for SWAT and Black Hawk Down but they are only 720 so not as good :(, I didnt know Superman Returns was on Blu-Ray may have to get that as well, was gona get it on DVD but never got round to it.

Come on Universal stop being lame and produce Blu-Ray as well ;)

Edit: Just seen Superman isn't out yet, is out 26th.

A lot of the Blu-Ray movies released in USA (region A) work in other regions (i.e. region B, Europe).

So I just ordered USA copy of Superman Returns. I don't actually know if it is released in Europe yet.

There are a lot of Midnight launches going on so there may be heavy "traffic" on the signup site meaning failed attempts at a guess :(
