PS3 Singstar query

Thinking of picking up a PS3.

Blu ray for me and Singstar for the kiddiwinks. They've got 5 PS2 singstar discs and microphones already.
Will these work on any PS3 (along with a PS3 singstar solus)?

In the last singstar patch they made it so ps2 singstar games will work on ps3 singstar. It just reads the songs from the old disk and uses the old videos. The old mics work fine aswell but they have wireless mics now for about £30. There is soon going to be a voice control patch that will allow you to pick songs by saying there name.
