PS3 Slim Overheat?

Here's a pic of my desk:

As you can see there is not much space on my desk for my ps3, unless I stand it vertically.

Does this position seem like there's not enough air space and might overheat?
It is heating up a fair bit after a small gaming session...

Just wondering if this would be fine...

I can't really determine the distance from the back in that photo but the only vent on the slim is at the back so if there is some space there I wouldn't worry about it too much.

There's only around 1-2 inches of space

If I do decide to move it, the only other place I can put it is vertically beside the xbox.

Ah well, see how it goes.

My slim is silent, cant even hear the thing on, even after a good few hours on god of war III

How far do you sit from the slim. I sit about 5-6ft away.
