PS3 splitscreen coop games?

I recently bought Borderlands and I have to say that the coop splitscreen with my missus really is a LOT of fun.

Anyone got suggestions for other similar games?

There is a FPS game that is split screen, can't think of what it's called though. Quiet old.

Also MW2 has spec ops missions which are split screen.

Resistance 1&2, LittleBigPlanet, Resident Evil 5, Warhawk, R6 Vegas, CoD MW2, Super Stardust HD, Army of Two, Haze... few more lol

Another vote for Resident Evil 5 it's a lot of fun and very cheap to buy new.

I started playing split screen games a lot more recently - feels like the good old days on the PSX before online gaming became the norm. Quake 4 player split screen was the highlight. Crash Racing was good too. Golden Eye on the N64, Micro Machines, Bomberman.....ok I'm getting carried away.

Thankfully, as you can see from the above suggestions, we still have quite a few split screen games coming out on the modern consoles too. I was afraid online gaming would kill it.

Sorry for the thread resurrection but it saved starting a new thread - any updated coop games out worth getting?

My mate and I have done a few now, such a R6 Vegas, MW2, Army of Two, LBP, SS HD etc. tried a couple of others and didn't play as well. Are there many recent games out? We have an xbox 360 too if that has good ones the Ps3 doesn't.
