PS3 Steering Wheels that controllers slot into

Does anyone use one of these and can anyone tell me if these things are an improvement over just using the pad? I'd like to have a full size wheel and pedals, but at the moment I just don't have the room.

I did do a search, but cudn't find anything.

the lack of force feedback would put me off plus it has no brake or accelerator pedals it looks stupid and awkward to play with, i'd rather just use the pad.

Can't see the point, you're still going to have to use the analogue sticks to steer.

Pretty sure this is for games like Motorstorm where you can use the sixaxis motion to control the vehicle, work pretty well when i tried just the controller. I guess its like the new ms wheel that uses motion control, or the mario kart controller.

I've never found the Sixaxis gyroscope to be very accurate so I can imagine that wheel being an absolute nightmare to control.

I'm assuming most developers have found the same, considering how seldom it's used now.

Uh huh, using it on Killzone 3 to turn the valves and stuff was horrible. I'm yet to buy Heavy Rain which I think has quite a bit of Sixaxis use though? Gonna get that one for Christmas.
