PS3 & Steering wheels.

Logitech G25 I believe is the one of choice for PS3

and PC, i just wish i could make use of one to justify the cost.

To be honest most USB steering wheels work from what ive read, so if you need a cheapie then as long as its USB it shoudl be alright. Dont hold me to that though. I plugged my old Logitech Formula Force GP into my PS3 and it worked straight off.

logitech G25 is reccomended but its quite a price if its just to be used on and off.

if your a serious gamer and also use your PC id look into it but im not and didnt wanna spend over £100 on somthing i wont use that oftern... so i got a PS2 logitech wheel (cant remember the model very similar to the Force EX wheel though) for about £40 and it was great for the few weeks i used it lol only thing i would have liked that the G25 does offer is the 900° rotation

Currently looking to buy too.

R25 is about £141 (best ive seen yet)
Now if OcUK put them on special next week (cough, hello)
The GT wheel which still gets decent reviews is approx £65 or less.

What i like about the GT wheel is that it has all the PS buttons, the R25 does not. Persoally id use it more for PS3 than PC so im thinking the GT might be good enough but would like to hear from owners...

Is one quieter (grrrr grrrr) noise when turning the wheel?

Ouch, the G25 is too expensive, I only plan on use it on the PS3.
The Logitech Driving Force EX looks like it's in a price range I might be prepared to pay.
Anyone out there tried this one?

I plugged my old Logitech Formula Force GP into my PS3 and it worked straight off.

Just plugged in my "Logitech Wingman Formula Force" into my ps3 and it says unrecognised device.

Anyone else running this and got it working on the ps3. Is there anything i can do like download drivers? Im running the 40GB version ps3.

Cheers
