PS3 Super Slim HDD Mounting Bracket?

I am in the same problem

My launch day 60GB ps3 died 2 days ago

I was going to to out and buy the 12gb for £149.00 and stick in my own drive

but the hdd caddy cannot be found anywhere !!!
 
It was a terrible idea to sell these without the bracket. They don't even list it as an accessory on the Playstation web site.

Apparently you can fit a hard drive anyway but you'll need to put something in to support it... or you can wait and hope the brackets turn up somewhere.

Managed to buy one from amazon came today...

compared to the little bracket you get the box was huge !!!

Put a spare 120gb in . Copies all the flash on to the hdd and off you go ....
 
As an aside how you guys finding the Super Slim compared to the previous models? Hard bad things about how loud the BD drive is :(

well im finding mine a lot quieter than the 60gb it replaced. For one the fans don't sound like a rolls royce jet engine ,
 
I saw the official sony bracket today in town, suprised it was only £8 sure ive seen non official ones for more not long ago.
