wanted to get my PS3 working on a projector, and preferably my PC monitor, and suspected Component would be the way to do it (my monitor isn't HDCP - think it would need to be for HDMI -> DVI? correct?)
So my thought was to invest in a PS3 component cable (for the projector) and then to get a component to VGA adapter to get it working on my monitor.
Have people tried this, does it work ok? Would only really be looking at getting 720p.
