PS3 Trigger Extensions

Hi guys,

Like many I find the triggers on the PS3 controller uncomfortable for driving games.

I purchased a set of Giotech 'Real Triggers' and they are fantastic - they feel perfectly comfortable and fix the problem entirely. Trouble is, after a week, the first set I had cracked. Which seemed odd. Swapped them for a new set on Saturday.

The second set has just disintegrated mid-game. Same problem again - cracks develop at the top and eventually bits of plastic snap off. I'm not exactly a furious button basher so I can only assume that it's just a really poorly made product.

This is a shame because it works so well.

What are the alternatives? Anyone else had this?

I've had mine for a while until i recently sold my PS3 and they didn't crack at all.

I've had mine since they came out in 2007, maybe even late 2006.. Anyway, never had any crack.. Had a few fly off in the heat of excitement but never crack.

You must have a bad bunch.

I got mine from GAME years ago, still going strong with no cracks or anything.

I'm using the ORB ones at the moment (decided on them after reading about the common Giotech cracking/splitting issues). Been on there a couple of weeks so far and no issues (though still early days).

They really do improve the feel of the DS3.

I got the Orb ones and they've been fine for me for over a year.
