Ive been looking into buying an external usb hard drive for my PS3 for extra storage. I have found that laptop hdd's only go upto around 200GB max which is quite a lot but that means loosing all my PS3 data or backing it up and watever.
So I was wondering if it is possible to use a separate external usb hdd to install Linux to and run it with your PS3. That way I wouldn't have all the hassle of backing up and I wont have to partition my drive and loose a load of space needed for demos etc. Does anybody know if this is possible?
