I figured out pretty quick that everything was going through Lavezzi so just tried to shut him down as much as possible. I ended up conceding that goal from Anelka in the second game because I was too worried about your wingers and you just ran down the middle, it happened a couple of times until I switched on a bit. VdS did bail me out on a couple of occasions but I was happy with the two goals I scored to come back.

Was pleased to only concede the two headers given how much you cross the ball, it's a good tactic if not the most sophisticated. :p

Chiellini and Mexes are rock solid at the back so I found them tough to break down I must admit.
 
james and talbs, you guys haven't played any games yet, i dont want this league to drag on too long, i didnt want to say no to you guys, but is there any chance you guys want to just leave it?

i know you guys want to play, but why not just add everyone and play for fun?

otherwise i reckon it could take too long, i'll let robert decide though as he is the one sponsoring this tournament.

and tbh some of us have played most of our games.

Maicon -- Chiellini -- IF Mexes -- TOTY Balzaretti

Cambiasso -- SIF Inler

IF Lavezzi -- Menez

Milito -- UP Ibra

i reckon with that team, i would honestly not have lost or drawn a game in this tournament.

Lavezzi is just too good and he costs like 2K lol

Think you beat me 5-0 in the first game iirc. Second game was 2-0.

I played mufcMark and lost both the games 2-1.

Seems like I maybe the QPR of the league! :p
 
just played Jamesbcd.

1-1
2-2

couple of very close games - 1st game was a tight affair with not much in the way of chances.

2nd game was the opposite. loads of chances at either end - keepers saving all sorts, post, crossbar - mental stuff

hey. thanks for the games. i wasn't really paying attention when you sent the invite so sorry if you were waiting long!

thought i could have snatched the 2nd game from 2-1 down though! equalised with a flukey goal, then a peno shout straight after but never given. then hitting the post. :(

i think i'll just leave the league and play anyone who wants a friendly from now. as everyone has played quite a few games and sonny doesn't want the league dragging on.

im sorry i didn't want to say no to anyone but i reckon it will drag on too long, maybe we can do another one for fun, if your up for it.

guys can we wrap this one up as soon as then we can do another? i know james and talbs are raring to go, so as soon as possible please, the guys who haven'y played many know who they are.
