PS3 VGA

hi im looking to hookup a ps3 to my tft 22 monitor i do beleave i need whats called a component could some one give me some feed back on there setups and if it's a good way to go because i do not really want to go down the HD tv route,

Have many of you gone down this route ? also some pointers on models of thease components would much be welcomed, seem's so many and different prices.

And also would i lose much quality compared to HD TV or would it be just smaller.

mm so i take it no one has done this before using vga component box ?

What make/model is your monitor? Does it support HDCP over DVI (if it has a DVI connector).

Well, no but I was thinking it would be better for you if you could use a HDMI > DVI cable. I think it's a pricey route going from component to VGA.

As using the ps3 with a non hdcp capable display via hdmi/dvi wont work, this adaptor if it comes in to existance may be the way to go
