PS3 VGA

gees louise, I never thought they cost that much. I was thinking like 30 quid. 250 dollars!?

That's £160 :o

But at least you get built in wireless with the ps3!

You can get a version that does the same job for anything between £40-£70 though I think, which is just the adapter rather than lead.

Need to connect ps3 to my projector which only has vga sockets is this possible and what will i need?

thanks

If your Projector supports YPbPr over VGA Then you can use a PS2 VGA cable (hard to find but they exist and are quite cheap, around £20).

Most VGA ports on TVs & Monitors only support RGB through the VGA port. Projectors are more likely to support YPbPr over VGA (which is basically carrying a Component "style" signal over the VGA port), hence, no HDCP required.

this is why it worked for V1N. If you have a manual it is worth checking, in the specifications section.

(I am not sure on the exact terminology above, but this is how I understand it works).
