PS3 via vga?

Does anyone here use a PS3 via a VGA connector on a monitor?

Basically i was looking at getting a PS3 but just noticed that they don't do or it doesn't support a VGA cable. I've seen HDMI to DVI cables around, would HDMI > DVI > VGA work at all? If it does, how would the quality look / compare?

Unfortunately not possible due to needing HDCP compliance, as far as im aware VGA does not support HDCP

Prrr, I've answered a few threads like this already

If you do a forum search for ps3 and my name and VGA, hopefully you'll find them.

I've done a number, including a picture of my VGA adaptor (bought for the PS2, but works on the PS3 as well)
