Anyone know when the PS3 will have on demand video, tv shows, etc in the UK?

i know its getting a dedicted streaming video channel for free,a as for our other questions isn't that what the addon PLAY TV does, you recorded them when you want and play them on demand when you want to watch them

I know that the PSN in other regions (Australia and the US iirc) have films and shows available for purchase on them. It's only a matter of time until this service comes to the UK i reckon, i've read several times that the US PSN release of "X'amd Lost Memories" (an anime series) was a test run for the service before it was rolled out across the other regions.

Got any more info on this? Quite interested in what will be played on there.

Yep 4th June, may indicate a new firmware update announced at E3.

It's long over due that's for sure!!!! :mad:

However, not all is lost as we got VidZone coming inland on the 4th June.

And, am looking forward to BBC iplayer HD, when ever that will be!
